Our Institute has been teaching yoga classes in Deptford for over 25 years and, in these difficult times, we wanted to do something to help our local community - especially those who need extra help.
999 Club Deptford does great work helping people facing homelessness - one of the most vulnerable groups in the UK. At this time when we are able to stay at home in safety, we want to do what we can to help people who cannot rely on this basic security.
Join us for a two hour online yoga challenge on Sunday 17th May (10:30am start). Five of our teachers will each teach 8 yoga poses - so that's a total of 40 key yoga poses - to help people get to grips with the fundamentals of each pose. Think of it as yoga speed learning! It will be a challenge to do the whole session but you can just do what you are able to do ... take a rest and watch the other participants until you can join in again!
If you would like to take part - please register below and then make a donation- whatever you can afford - on our Just Giving page. You could also ask people to sponsor you to do the challenge! We also welcome donations from people who are not able to take part but would still like to donate.
Please help us support the most vulnerable in our local community.
