This studio yoga day with Glenys Shepherd is based on Guruji’s (BKS Iyengar’s) restorative programme for emotional stability that he described as quietening for the body and the mind. The day will help you understand the use of props tailored to your individual needs.
Glenys is the teacher who originally established IYISL and her teaching reflects decades of learning from Guruji and Geetaji as well as her own teaching experience. Glenys loves teaching yoga and combines clarity, inspiration and fun in her very unique teaching style.
Everyone is welcome at this yoga day which is for all levels of Iyengar Yoga students from confident beginner (with a minimum of about 6 months Iyengar Yoga experience). A vegan lunch is provided as part of the day.
